Terms of Service
These terms explain the rules for using TagsCord, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
Last updated June 13, 2026
01Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of TagsCord (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use TagsCord.
You must be old enough to use Discord in your country, and at least 13 years old, to use TagsCord. By using the Service you confirm that you meet that requirement and are able to enter into these Terms.
03Your account
You sign in with Discord. We do not offer passwords or any other login method. When you sign in, you authorize us to receive information from your Discord account (such as your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email) as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure; access to TagsCord follows from access to your Discord account.
- Do not impersonate others, or create multiple accounts to manipulate upvotes, evade limits, or evade a suspension.
- You may disconnect at any time by signing out and revoking TagsCord’s access in your Discord settings, and you may request deletion of your account data (see the Privacy Policy).
04Listing a server and our Discord bot
You add a server to TagsCord by inviting our Discord bot to it. By doing so you represent that you own that server or have “Manage Server” permission for it.
What the bot does
- Reads the server’s publicly available information (such as its name, icon, banner, approximate member count, and vanity URL) to build and keep the listing current;
- Creates an invite link so visitors can join from the listing, unless the server already has a vanity URL;
- Operates with the minimum access it needs and does not read your message content.
You may remove the bot from your server at any time. Doing so stops live updates; you can also ask us to delist the server entirely. You are responsible for ensuring your server and its content comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and applicable law.
05Upvotes and fair use
Upvotes are meant to reflect genuine, current community activity. Any member of a server may upvote it, and each upvote counts toward the server’s score for a limited time before it expires.
- One upvote per member per server within each cooldown window;
- You may not inflate or manipulate rankings using alternate accounts, bots, automation, paid votes, or vote-exchange schemes.
We may remove votes, reset scores, or delist servers that we believe are gaming the rankings.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to use TagsCord to:
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information;
- List or promote content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that infringes others’ rights;
- Scrape, harvest, or access the Service or its API through unauthorized automated means, or beyond rate limits;
- Interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass the security of the Service;
- Harass other users or distribute malware; or
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
07Paid placements
We may offer paid options to feature a server in more prominent positions on the Service. Where offered, the price and specific terms are shown to you before purchase.
- Featuring is a promotional placement, not an endorsement, and does not guarantee any particular number of visitors, joins, or upvotes;
- Except where required by law, fees for promotional placements are non-refundable.
08Content and intellectual property
The TagsCord name, design, and software are owned by TagsCord and its operator and are protected by applicable laws. Discord server data, names, icons, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
By adding a server or submitting information, you grant TagsCord a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that information for the purpose of operating the directory. This license ends when the content is removed, except for copies retained as required by law or kept in routine backups for a limited time.
09Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for the servers listed on TagsCord or for their content, members, or conduct.
10Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TagsCord and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.
11Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, and remove any listing, at any time if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using TagsCord at any time and request deletion of your account and associated data.
12Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law gives you other rights.
